Many technological processes require a change in rotational speed in some required area. Since the rotational speed of many working machines has to be adapted to the respective working conditions, it is necessary for such a requirement that the driving rotational speed of the working machine can be changed. Such a stepless change of gear ratio in the control range R = 6 can be achieved by using VARIAN GEARS.

DVG25 spindle gear units are compact, robust and easy to maintain and install. We can have a version with a stationary or rotating spindle.
The design is selected according to the type and purpose of use. We can also connect several gears together with cardan shafts for synchronous operation of several gears at the same time when lifting spindles are needed in several places. The gearbox can be fixed to the pad or can be moved by an element that moves or lifts.

The special worm gears in our program with a longer wheelbase are the P250 with a 250 mm wheelbase and the P315 with a 315 mm wheelbase. Both sizes are characterized by high load capacity, strong construction and good efficiency. They were driven in non-motorized and motorized versions, and with a fan for cooling the auger. The gearmotors also have a clutch attached between the electric motor and the gearbox. Electric motors in sizes IEC 160 to 250 can be fitted to the P250 motor, and electric motors in sizes 160 to 315 to the P315.

Under the term modified gearboxes are hidden various finishes of standard gearboxes. According to your wishes, we can make shafts that deviate from the standard dimensions. Preference is given to shafts with a dowel groove. Smooth shafts and toothed shafts according to DIN5480 (m = 2) in agreement with our design office.
We also manufacture additional gear ratios, connection flanges, and in addition to standard bore diameters, non-standard ones can also be ordered for mounting gears.
Worm gears are manufactured as standard in motor and non-motor versions. If desired, we can make extended augers, attach non-standard electric motors (two-speed, single-phase, with incremental encoder), with a stand-alone fan, PTC protection and more.
Gear units with reduced operating noise.
We designed drives for theaters with an emphasis on operating noise, as the noise level together with the electric motor does not exceed 58dB.
In our development department and quality production, we can produce drives that, together with the electric motor, do not exceed the permitted value of dB.
The drives reach an average noise of around 53 dB.
